Reiki is the Japanese phrase for "universal life energy,".  The Usui System of Reiki Healing is a hands-on healing practice. Reiki - universal life energy - is channeled through the practitioner's hands for self-treatment or treatment of others. Reiki is used to enhance the health and well-being - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual of the individual. There are 5 precepts for daily living that a REIKI practitioner follows. They are: 1) Just for today, do not worry. 2) Just for today, do not anger. 3) Honor your parents, teachers and elders.  4) Earn your living honestly., and 5) Show gratitude to every living thing.
